Jess has taught a variety of āsana (postural) classes at many studios across Brisbane for more than nine years. She has taught vinyasa, beginners, prenatal, gentle, and hatha classes. These days she prefers to focus on mobility, mindfulness, and inclusiveness through a fusion of vinyasa and hatha yoga, all with a good dose of humour and playfulness. Jess’ characteristically thoughtful language invites students to develop a mindful practice, while learning about their bodies, minds, and the deeper aspects of the self. Jess also firmly believes that yoga belongs to everyone. She encourages her students to seek their own internal guidance, to challenge themselves when appropriate, and to embrace an attitude of courage and playfulness.
Jess is not currently teaching regular asana classes but she is available, from time to time, to take cover classes. Please get in touch if you have an anticipated or unexpected urgent cover request.
